Here is the animatic for 'Chiddy Bang- Opposite of Adults'

In need of more footage :)

We have found ourselves in need of more footage for our music video. Using the lyrics, me and Michael sat down and thought of an idea which would require using the drama studio and/ or the one of the school halls.

In the song there is a bit where it says, 'now i'm ripping up shows and them fans going wild with us' and for this part we thought that we could have Matt and Theo on stage, rapping to an audience. For this we would need to organise a few people to help us out, so today I asked a couple of my friends if they could help us out and perform in our music video. Currently, three people agreed to helping us but we need a couple more in order to create a real feeling of a crowd at a concert in the music video. This is the effect we would like to achieve...

Letter of Permission Request

Here is the final draft of the letter of permission to use the facilities at the roehampton youth centre.

Wednesday 17th December

In today's lesson me and Matt sat down and worked closely with our storyboarding. We looked at all the shots that we have and all the shots which were totally out of context and didn't make sense we put onto a different piece of sugar paper. 

The ideas which we knew that were really good and we definitely wanted to keep in our music video we put in order and went through them from the very start. 

We played our song over and over again to get the best effect and we imagined every shot and decided how long it's going to be on screen. 

We are still working on our planning and we know we are really behind because there is just so much to decide on. 

11/12/2013- Storyboard

Today I have added more ideas to the storyboard and the group will be holding a meeting at 13:30 today to finish the storyboard completely and start the animatic as well as get an approval from the teachers to start filming.

Script

We are planning to have a short introduction scene to the music video which is scripted and roles have been given out where as the main video has been mostly stoaryboarded but not scripted yet.

Hand held camera style, going around the house filming bottles of alcohol, cigarettes and clothes everywhere moving into the bedroom where the performer is.

Agata: Oh look who it is! (Zoom into performers' face)

Risk Assessment

There are different risk depending on  the location we will be working. Majority of our material will be filmed in Roehampton estates or youth centre.
Risks:Slippery Ice on basketball courts
Contact game of basetball (risk of injury)
Risk of rain when all equipment set up (potential danger)
Dangerous area  (high crime rate)
Risk of loosing equipment

To prevent these risks we shall check all surfaces before filming if they are safe to use, the basketball game should be friendly with rules of no contact. We shall check the weather before filming and mainly film during the day. We shall check that all equipment is correctly packed to be taken back to school.

Filming

As we haven't still finished the storyboard we can not start our filming process. This is hard to do because we all have lessons and Theo's lesson plan is different to ours. We are all coming in tomorrow at lunch to add the final bits to the storyboard in order to be ready to film on Thursday.

29.11.13 - Classwork

Today we decided to go with Matt and show him the places we saw in Monday as he couldn't make it which was very unfortunate.

04.12.2013 - Planning

Today I had a meeting with my local youth centre in regards to using some of its property to shoot parts of our music video. All went well and use of the building and play area have been approved. I shall write up a health and safety report sometime soon.

03.12.2013 - Planning

Mrs Thrasher was not present during the lesson today, therefore I decided to finilise the initial draft of my group storyboard, in order for us to be ready to start filming as soon as possible. I have set the group deadline for the start of the groups filming process as the begining of next week, in order to be finished before the Christmas half-term break, thereby leaving plenty of time after the half-term for the editing process and internal previews.

Meeting 26/11/13

In today's lesson I talked to Matt about what me and Theo saw yesterday. I showed him all the possible locations we could film and he quite liked the idea.

We also looked at the story board that Theo worked on in his lesson yesterday and we would like to change a couple of things and add more therefore we moved our deadline for completing the storyboard until Friday 29th November.

19.11.13 - Classwork

We have talked about our planning and we decided that we will start filming in the middle of the next week. This Sunday we will be going to our desired locations to see what they look like and if it's possible for us to film there. We are still planning to have the storyboard finished on Friday.
